BED AND BREAKFAST AND SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION IN SOUTH AFRICA

www.bookabed.co.za

The Accommodation Network and Bed & Breakfast Bureau runs a network of bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation throughout South Africa and lists this accommodation owned by its Members countrywide on website www.bookabed.co.za (also accessible via www.bbsc.co.za and www.bed-and-breakfast.co.za)

All accommodation is either approved by the Grading Council of South Africa, a recognised local Tourist Office, or is inspected by the Bureau to ensure the highest standard possible relative to all price ranges.

NO BOOKING FEE OR COMMISSION IS CHARGED TO GUESTS BY www.bookabed.co.za or the Accommodation Network and Bed & Breakfast Bureau.

Payment is not required at time of enquiring on the website as all financial arrangements are directly between our Accommodation Network and Bed & Breakfast members and their guests. At the time of booking, your host will be in touch with you should a deposit be necessary to secure your booking.

Bookings are happily accepted through Travel Agents or direct from members of the public. Should bookings from Agents not be acceptable by the owner, this will be noted on the listing

The accommodation network also lists owners who are available for international or national house swap, or daily rental for movie shoots. This is noted on individual listings. Wheelchair accessibility and willingness to accept pets is also noted as well as all other information relevant to a guest's stay.

As most bed and breakfast and small self catering unit owners are prevented from advertising with boards outside their homes by Council regulations and find it too expensive to advertise individually, the Accommodation Network and Bed & Breakfast Bureau provides a unique service for the consumer by putting them in touch with accommodation which would otherwise be very hard to find.

The Accommodation Network and Bed & Breakfast Bureau is establishing the "largest hotel in South Africa" by the amalgamation of the "Rooms to Let" into one central listing.

Bed & Breakfast is becoming the increasingly popular among tourists, who enjoy the interaction with locals while business travellers also prefer the "personal atmosphere" and reasonable prices. Self catering accommodation is also listed as some enquirers would prefer the privacy and independence this provides when travelling.

We hope you enjoy our Members' South African hospitality, and would welcome any positive (or unlikely negative) feedback to us after your visit so that we may maintain the high standard of accommodation on our site.
